Morning Sickness!!!

More like 24hr. sickness, don't get me wrong I am so grateful we are pregnant but even after 5+ years I still remember how much I hated morning sickness( I mean who likes it). With Stratton it was never this bad, the sickness only lasted a week maybe two and then *poof*, it was gone. I wake up sick, lay sick on the couch all day, anything I smell makes me sick no matter what it is! Then I may get a 30 min break where I start to think that I am feeling better and then BOOM, its here again. I wish it would just go away, I have tried everything!!! Ginger Ale, Crackers, toast, Nux Vomica(homeopathic), Vitamin B6, Sprite, and an herbal tincture my mom sent, and nothing relieves it long enough, if anyone has any advice of some kind of relief send it my way I would greatly appreciate it. :)

Sarah that is just yucky. I had that too. It is like having the flu eveyday all day. Just remember that means that the baby is healthy. I always said to that it is better to eat and throw up food than acid. I also use to use Ginger Root. I am so happy for you (not the sick part). Congrats.

Oh Sarah that just stinks. I am sorry you are sick. I had that too. It is like having the flu everyday all day. All I can say is it is better throw up food than acid so eat even if you don't feel like it. I also use to use Ginger Root. It helps a little. I am so happy for you (not the sick part). Congrats

Congrats you guys! Glad everything is going well this time. I am very excited for your little family to grow! I felt that sick with Isaac. I got some bracelets that help with motion/travel sickness. It helped enough to were I could actually do more during the day. I found them at walgreens.

My sister-in-law was sick like that. She ended up having the Dr. give her a prescription that helped - I think Krissy did too. I can't remember what it's called though. You totally have all of my sympathies! I hope it lets up soon!

Congrats on the baby. Your description of Morning Sickness brought it all back for me when I had Amber. I'd be on the run to the bathroom at midnight before I could even wake up. Try a 1/4 cup of coke or pepsi and soda crackers before you get out of bed in the morning.

Sara,

I think they are called travel-eze. I'm sure that you can find them at any drugstore. They look a little silly, but anything is better than feeling sick all day. At least I thought so.

I'm not sure when we will come for a visit. I sure do miss everyone though!

Hope the morning sickness will ease up soon. Hang in there, we know it's worth it, just not pleasant. Love ya, Katie

Mint! Like breath mints, peppermints, any mint. It was a life saver for me. I didn't puke hardly at all with my pregnancies but I was nauseaus 24/7 for months! And mint helped. I just kept them in my purse and sucked on them constantly! I gave the remedy to my sister who gets horribly sick, and it helped her too. Hope it helps.

And I totally understand, after not being able to get pregnant and then miscarrying, I was relieved to be pregnant but annoyed with being sick. Good luck! Hope it passes quickly!
