More pics and a really long story

I need to put this on here so if I ever get around to printing a book I will have all this stuff written down. Well the story of Peyton's birth begins Thursday February 25th at 7:30am is when I was scheduled to be induced. I really contemplated even getting induced because I felt so guilty trying to make a baby come to this cold cruel world(I know dramatic) if he really wasn't ready, but being the impatient person that am I decided to do it anyways. Dr. Tindall first broke my water and decided to have me get up and walk to see if I would make any progress and I didn't. He then decided to start me on pitocin to get things moving and while waiting they sent someone up to give me an epidural. I really wanted to try to go natural, I don't know what I was thinking that is just insane, I just couldn't stand the pain. My first epidural hurt so bad when they gave it to me I started to cry it almost felt like the needle was hitting a nerve, I felt it from my neck to my toes. He insisted it was normal, but 20 min went by and the pain just got worse and they kept asking me if I was sure it wasn't just pressure I was feeling, I kept thinking of course you would say that you aren't in labor!! They sent another guy up to check my epidural and when he lifted my shirt he asked Joe, "umm has she always had this baseball size lump on her tail bone"? Joe of course if like" umm, no". So of course they gave me another epidural since the last one was leaking to my tail bone, I know very weird. So long story short, I finally felt relief after the second one and then they waited it out until 7:38pm Peyton was born. I was shocked how fast I was able to push him out, in only 3 or 4 tries and no tearing, unlike my experience giving birth to Stratton pushing for an hour and a half and an episiotomy. This was a wonderful experience for me and not what I was expecting. It has been a blessing for our whole family and I am so grateful he came our life!

Congratulations again! I'm glad that this birth experience went a lot better! Minus the epidural part of coarse! He sure is a cutie! I'm so happy for your family, Stratton looks likes he's being a great help. I bet he is so happy to have a brother.
