My girls, Vanessa,Becca, Cassie, and Chaundra, I love these girls, I am so grateful to have such wonderful friends.. Thank you girls for being such great friends, without you I would have no one to go on long walks with then pig out at lunch with(lol)Love you all!

Remember 9/11

Today on 9/11 2001, the day of great sadness, and ultimate sacrafice. I was 17, and a senior in high school, and I remember that day as if it were yesterday. I had spent the night at Kourtney's house, and on the morning on 9/11 I awoke to Kourtney shaking telling me to wake up, and all I heard at first was"wake up, there is a plane that crashed into the twin towers". Immediately I awoke and ran to the t.v. as fast as I could and made it just in time to see the second plane heading straight for the towers. I stood there in complete shock and sadness, it was so chaotic on t.v. , people were screaming and crying,dust completely covered the ground and air. To those that were lost, and their families who survived and ecspecially to the one's who still fight for us , you are always in our hearts and in our prayers.

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY STRATTON!

Today is Stratton's 5th birthday, and I just can't believe it! They use to say to enjoy them because they grow up so fast, and they really do. It's like he was just born yesterday and then I blinked and he is 5. Stratton I hope you know how special you are to our family. I love and appreciate the person you already are, you are so sweet, smart, and my favorite part about you is your wide imagination, someday you are going to make your mark! :)

Family Update

Yes I know it's been a while but my digital camera is broke, so I now have to use the 35mm which is great unless you want instant pic's. So I will be posting pics of Stratton's first day of school as soon as I get them. He did so good, and was completely excited, he got such an awesome teacher Mrs. Rhoton, which made me happy. He is doing good and doesn't even seem to miss me. He has so many friends, and I miss him so much while he is at school, it is so hard to believe he turns 5 tomarrow! I will be back to school next week so I am really excited to have something to fill my time while Stratton is away. Joe is also doing and attending school again this fall and we have a class together which is exciting to have the support. Until next time, luv you all! ;)

Infomercials?????

Okay,
so Stratton must be going through a maturing stage because he is doing and saying the oddest things. He has been into cleaning, organizing, and just making life more simple. Lately(this week and last) he has been so interested in infomercials, YES thats what I said Infomercials, you know the commercials that have the 5 second blast on how great their products are, or the one's you see late at night that are ridiculously long but yet they still interest you and you wonder could that really work?
So Stratton watches NOggin the show that plays all the kid shows, ALL day Long, and apparently they think that the kids need to get in on the action(or they think parent's are watching). But they have gotten Stratton to become a BELIEVER, they have him bought at 4 yrs old!!! Everyday he comes to me and has a different thing that he has seen that he has to have, and this is no joke, here is his list (for his birthday)if I laugh he gets mad because his is totally serious if you know Stratton he is Serious!!!!

1. Butterfly Habitat( you grow your own butterflies, who would have know)
2. Pixo's ( the one tool that helps them make bead art?)
3.Pancake Puff Maker (apparently they make your pancakes taste much better)
4. Buxton Bag Organizer ( this is for mom cause he says I can never find my phone)
5. Space Bags ( so this one if the funniest, so that I can have fresh clothes as good as new as the day they were put in the bags and Stratton swears by this one!)

Boy have I got a handful with this kid I think that he trying to tell that my house needs organizing (which is doesn't on my defense), he is just a clean freak like his dad, gotta love em' he is the sweetest boy and always has good intentions:)

A Tribute to my lil sis

This is the most recent pic of me and my lil sis although my camera say's 2007. Vicki moved here last November and I really love having her around, it is so nice to be close to family and so I had to do a tribute page to her. Love you victoria!!

Clean House

I have to tell this story about Stratton mostly for journaling purposes, and because it was so random! This morning I was sitting on the couch folding clothes while Stratton was sitting watching cartoons, when all of the sudden he gets up and start cleaning! YEs, it is a shock for me because it is always such a headache to get him to clean up his toys. But wait, that is not all..... after cleaning the living room he went straight to his room cleaned it completely bed, toys, and all. Then, he went to the bathroom and picked up his towel off the floor and just went around the whole house cleaning and picking things up. Just when I thought he was done( he had been cleaning for 30 min already) he went straight to MY ROOM turned to me and says " you seriously need to clean your room", I could not stop laughing now tell me how RANDOM is that, and embarassing that your son has to tell his mom to clean her room. ( I promise it's not that bad just clothes everywhere).He love's to try and be the boss to mom or anyone else whenever possible ,gotta I love him for those leadership qualities!
